At Keffiyeh USA, we believe the story of Keffiyehs is inseparable from the story of the Palestinian people and their fight for self-determination. Right now, Palestinians are forced to endure a horrific humanitarian crisis that has been inflicted on them. In addition to the obvious terror, violence, and humiliation, families on the ground also share stories of extreme price hikes and devastating shortages of necessities.
We have committed to helping the 2 families below cover their essential expenses. Every two weeks, we will donate 10% of all sales, distributing the funds equally among these families. The donations will be sent through their verified GoFundMe campaigns, ensuring transparency. You can connect with these families directly on Instagram, where they are courageously sharing their daily realities. After placing your order, please remember to give them a follow.
His Story:
Ismail Banner, a 20-year-old from northern Gaza, once dreamed of completing his videography studies to support his family. However, after October 7, 2023, those aspirations were shattered. His family fled their home after witnessing a devastating massacre near their house, only to endure harrowing conditions while seeking safety.
Ismail's father, Muhammed, who was paralyzed and relied on a wheelchair, faced immense challenges during their displacement. The family ultimately settled at a crowded school, but disease, lack of sanitation, and poor living conditions took a heavy toll. Despite Ismail’s desperate efforts to get his father treatment, Muhammed passed away due to the hardships in August 2024, a victim of the ongoing occupation and blockade.
Now, at the age of 20, Ismail bears the responsibility of caring for his entire grieving and displaced family under dire conditions. His family, displaced multiple times, faces starvation and thirst while living in constant fear. Until Ismail can evacuate his family, donations will help them afford essential resources like food and water.

His Story:
Ali, a 21-year-old IT student, once lived a peaceful and fulfilling life with his family in Gaza City. His parents worked as dressmakers, and their home was a vibrant space filled with colors of happiness, peace, and security. However, the ongoing genocide has turned their world upside down. Their house has been destroyed, leaving them homeless and jobless, struggling to survive in overcrowded shelters where even basic necessities like water, food, and medical care are scarce.
Ali’s father, who suffers from diabetes and severe cartilage issues, and his mother, whose health has visibly deteriorated under these conditions, are fighting to stay alive amid the dire circumstances. Ali describes his mother’s transformation, saying that one might think she is in her 70s due to the stress and suffering she has endured.
Despite losing everything, Ali must continue to support his family through these difficult times. However, their financial burden has grown beyond what they can manage alone. We aim to help provide Ali and his family with the resources they desperately need to cover essential expenses like food, water, medical care, and shelter.
